On 3 to 7 November 2017, the 41st Convocation Festival was organized as previous years by Student Activities Management Section, Student Affairs and Agricultural Park Division, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). During the five days of the festival, various cultural and artistic contests and performances were held and participated by KPZ students. These include Kompang Festival (Kompang Festival or FESKOM), choir game (Choir Festival or FESKO), band match (Rentak Putra or Live Band), and nasyid (Nasyid Festival or FESNIK). The first day of the UPM Convocation Festival, kompang competition opened the curtain on the night of November 3, 2017. KPZ represented the group "Rentap Za'ba" sent 13 students led by En Amirul Azuan bin Md Joni as KPZ Cultural Fellows. On the next night, the Live Band competition took place very festively. KPZ did not miss sending The Side Side to a competition at the last Convocation Festival. The choir competition or FESKO was held on the night of November 5, 2017. Like the years already, KPZ under the name 'Kenyat Sukma Pendeta' has sent 13 talented and very talented performers. On the night of November 6, 2017, the Nasyid or FESNIK competition was represented by the 'ZahirulHaq' Group under the guidance of Mr Qhairul Nizam as a teacher. The summit of the Convocation Festival was held with a glorious gift giving session at Angsana Pentas, Bukit Ekspo, UPM. The token of the 41th Konvo Festival curtain proved that students representing the KPZ were still great and were able to compete with other college colleges by bringing two awards from FESNIK namely Runner-up and Best Performance Award. Such a program is able to uncover new talents and attract students to continue the existing legacies in the arts and cultural activities.
