Serdang UPM, 10th December - The Supreme Council of College Students Mohamad Rashid and Za'ba's Revolutionary College have collaborated and organized a leadership-led program namely Meet Anwar @ UPM: Student Dialogue with YBhg. Dato 'Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Port Dickson Member of Parliament. This program has been inspired by Prof. Dr. Khairulmazmi Bin Ahmad, principal of Mohamad Rashid College and Za'ba Reverend College after looking at the potential of student leadership that can be nurtured and honed continuously

The 18/19 student council and management of both colleges have collaborated with the University of Malaysia's Student Affairs Division in an effort to realize the program. The two-hour program which began at 9 pm was terminated at 11 pm. A total of 2,000 students from various faculties and residential colleges filled PKKSSAAS's large hall, the dialogue was attended by UPM Vice-Chancellor, YBhg. Prof Datin Paduka Dato 'Dr. Aini Ideris and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Universiti Y.A.M Tengku Admiral Perlis Dato 'Seri Syed Razlan Ibni Syed Putra Jamalullail.

The program is also visited by students from nearby institutions of higher learning and is open to the public. Among the questions asked by the participants on the program were issues related to the National Higher Education Corporation Loan (PTPTN) Loan, 18-year voting age limit, ratification of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), campus politics and some questions on issues current. According to YBhg. Dato 'Seri Anwar Ibrahim, "The university should be a place to learn, love science by holding a fresh discourse and listening to all views. Because with the argument will enforce Islam rahmatan lil alamin ". This shows that this initiative is one of the means to produce idealistic and progressive minded individuals. This initiative is an ideal platform to bring student concern to the increasingly widespread polemic problems in our country. Students also have the opportunity to establish a more friendly relationship and close to the nation's highest rank in the context of the new government. Awareness of the issue of freedom of speech among students also provides opportunities for students to come together to help and to play a role in strengthening the country's future. The statistics are also the result of awareness on the freedom of expression among the people, especially in institutions involving youths and students. Filling a more relaxed program and long inquiry session gives the prospective pioneers an opportunity to cast their opinions and inquiries into YBhg. Dato 'Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Impact This program has opened the way for students to ask Y.B Dato 'Seri Anwar Ibrahim about the latest issues as well as the questions that the students are asking for. The program also provided room for him to mingle with all the attendees who attended the night.
