EKSA COMMUNAL WORK

SERDANG, JANUARY 9, 2023- Za'ba Clergy College (KPZ), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has held a Mutual Cooperation for the Implementation of the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) at Za'ba Clergy College. This cooperation has been carried out in the Za'ba Reverend College Quiet Zone, which has been joined by 10 staff, assisted by cleaners and landscapers. Gotong-royong is carried out in the e-waste store area and the student desk and student closet store to ensure that the area is organized, clean and awake using the 5S method. 5S practice is a quality environment management tool pioneered by Japan with a focus on five (5) implementation action steps that begin with the initial letter ‛S' which aims to manage systematic hygiene practices. Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu and Shitsuke are Japanese words shortened to 5S. In Malay it means Side, Arrange, Sweep, Uniform and Always Charity. The method used during mutual aid is 'Sisih' which is a work process of separating necessary and unnecessary goods from a group of goods at work. This sorting process helps in determining the items that are needed now or in the future and need to be stored in designated storage areas. Unnecessary items will be disposed of. The joint efforts that are carried out can also help in designing the implementation of EKSA in KPZ to ensure that the quality and productivity of services can be improved in a conducive workplace environment.
