SERDANG, JANUARY 12, 2023- Za'ba Clergy College (KPZ), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in conjunction with Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College (KOSAS) won several sports events during the 2022 Residential College Fellows & Staff Sports Day which was conducted on Last May 25 to June 29, 2022.

A total of six (6) events were contested, namely carom, badminton, netball, futsal, volleyball and table tennis. Out of the 6 matches, the combination of KPZ and KOSAS won the championship for volleyball and table tennis, while netball got second place, women's singles badminton and futsal got third place during the Sports Day Prize Presentation Ceremony for Fellows & Staff of the Residential College.

According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Residential College, Prof. Associate Dr. Amini Amir Bin Abdullah has stated to intensify the Residential College Fellows & Staff Sports Day in 2023 with the addition of six (6) events namely archery, golf, penalty kicks, darts, chess and fishing will be highlighted for this year 2023. This Residential College Fellows & Staff Sports Day is one of the programs to foster sportsmanship, improve personal fitness and mental intelligence in addition to strengthening relationships among residential college residents. The high spirit of sportsmanship and enthusiasm shown by all representatives of the alliance can improve the healthy lifestyle of the staff and fellows of the residential college, Universiti Putra Malaysia.
